Zipitz was pursuing the re-design and re-development of a user friendly and dynamic database driven web site that could be easily maintained internally.

The design of their old site had not met key business objectives and the presence was outdated in functionality, appearance, structure, and presentation of content. Zipitz provided Planet Media with the opportunity to re-engineer the site to better serve Zipitz as a business tool and contribute to the achievement of their online marketing objectives. This included Website Design, Database Development, Live Online Chat, Auto Quote Wizard, News Blog with RSS, and Content Management System.

What they Do

Zipitz, based in St. Petersburg, Florida is the first retail operation of its kind -- designed to make business mailings easy. Zipitz is dedicated to the mailing needs of small businesses, realtors, restaurants, retailers and SOHO. Zipitz provides mailing lists of potential customers within a specified radius around a business, targeted demographics for income or household size, or specific business type.

The Situation

The challenge was to capture the energy and the direction of Zipitz. They wanted graphics and a style that not only appealed to their demographic, but also reminded their demographic that the future is what the company is all about. Planet Media designed and developed a visually appealing, highly functional and full featured corporate website that includes a News Blog with RSS, Auto Quote Wizard, Live Online Chat and Content Management.

The Impact

The Zipitz staff can now internally manage all aspects of their online business including Interactive Chat Sessions and Auto Quote Wizard.

Additionally, their marketing group controls blog content, newsletters and overall site content management. The sales team has complete access and control of their client inquiry database.
