Denver Green Streets is a new e-zine and directory that required branding, marketing communications, a new website design and development as well as social media marketing to promote their green, eco-friendly message. The company believes that using online media as a tool to inspire solutions and to educate readers regarding the environmental crisis.

The implementation of their new campaign had to meet key business objectives and their online presence will be used as a business tool and contribute to the achievement of their long term marketing objectives. The project included branding and corporate identity, website design and development, a monthly online magazine publication, a green business directory integrated with online credit card processing, interactive calendar of events, metrics tracking banner ad system, video blog, news blog, jobs board and content management system to control the entire site.

what they do

Denver Green Streets, based in Denver, Colorado and is Metro Denver and Colorado's green, eco friendly and sustainable online magazine and directory. Their goal is to help their readers understand environmental issues, both locally and globally, and suggest ways in which they can work together to resolve them. Their readers include all shades of “green,” from baby boomers that walk, bike and use public transportation to avoid excessively using fossil fuels, to young couples just learning about the benefits of sustainable living.

the situation

The challenge was to capture the energy, community spirit and marketing communications message of Denver Green Streets. They wanted graphics and a style that not only appealed to their demographic, but also reminded their demographic that the future of our planet is what the company is all about. Planet Media designed and developed a visually appealing, highly functional and full featured website that not only met, but exceeded their expectations.

the impact

The Denver Green Streets staff can now internally manage all aspects of their online business. Additionally, their marketing group controls blog content, newsletters, directory listings, social media content as well as overall site content management. The sales team has complete access and control of their client inquiry database and managed advertising and promotions via the CMS.
